Roberta Valtorta
Historian and Photography Critic
Roberta Valtorta is a historian and photography critic who has worked in the field since 1976, focusing on photography as a form of artistic research, its languages, its cultural assets, and on the link between photography and territory. She has lectured for more than 30 years at the CFP Bauer Photography School in Milan (formerly Umanitaria), and designed the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Cinisello Balsamo-Milan, where she worked as scientific director until 2015.
