Laura Silvia Battaglia, a freelance journalist and documentary filmmaker, is a host and author for RAI Radio 3 who has taught journalism at the Catholic University of Milan. She has a particular focus on Iraq and Yemen, and has shot and produced documentaries and won the Luchetta, Siani, Cutuli, Anello Debole, and Mediterranean journalists awards. She also won the 2010 Giancarlo Siani award for the video Maria Grazia Cutuli.
