Francesco Franchi

Creative director and journalist

Graphic designer and journalist Francesco Franchi is the Deputy creative director of Italian newspaper La Repubblica. A professor at IUAV University of Venice and IED Istituto Europeo di Design, during his career  Franchi won many awards including European Design Awards, D&AD Awards, SPD Awards, and the Compasso d’Oro ADI Award. He wrote, among others, Designing News: Changing the World of Editorial Design and Information Graphics (Gestalten, 2013.)
