The Interfaces Issue

Nothing lives in isolation. One way or another, everything we see, hear, touch — indeed, everything there is — is related. The spaces in between sometimes connect, sometimes divide; sometimes are natural, sometimes come about thanks to interfaces we design ourselves. Through the concepts of digital and physical interfaces, liminal spaces, confines, borders, intermediation, and more, this issue of MAIZE explores how we interface with things, with one another, and, ultimately, with the world around us as a whole.
