Journalist
Leonardo Piccione was born in the middle of winter in Bari. After a PhD in Statistical Sciences he thought it was time to combine numbers with words. He is the author of narrative and sports reportages for various paper and digital magazines. He has long been cultivating a preferred relationship with Iceland, a land that he described in the Libro dei vulcani d’Islanda (Iperborea, 2019) and which also inspired the subsequent Tutta colpa di Venere (Neri Pozza, 2022). Currently you can meet him in the village of Húsavík, north-eastern Iceland, where — when he is not writing — he collaborates with two museums, a hotel and a bar.
