Katherine Richardson is an oceanographer and professor. In 2009, she was chairman of the Scientific Steering Committee for the international conference Climate Change: Global Risks, Challenges and Decisions; and in 2014 she was chair of the Scientific Steering Committee for the congress Global Challenges: Achieving Sustainability.
