GenAI revolutionizes workflows
Tasks aren’t what they used to be. GenAI integrates into all phases of work, pushing to change execution habits

Generative artificial intelligence transforms work dynamics, affecting every stage of daily work. The adoption of these tools requires a rethinking of traditional workflows, along with the need to adapt to the idea that the order in which one’s tasks can vary. Observation of our sample points to a more iterative and progressive workflow that incorporates AI feedback and considers the impact of this technology on everyday professional life. Artificial intelligence exponentially speeds up mechanical processes, freeing up time and resources for more value-added activities.
The key moments
When embarking on a creative or professional project, artificial intelligence can be a valuable tool at three key points in the process:
- At the beginning: The beginning is often the most dreaded, the so-called “empty sheet panic.” In these situations, AI can provide suggestions and cues to help overcome the creative blackout. By providing initial stimuli or rough ideas it can turn anxiety into a concrete first draft to work on.
I don’t have empty sheet panic anymore… Everything the tool offers then is original, and you don’t feel it may be too close to something you’ve seen from other brands. — Elisa
- Working on what I have already done: After the initial stage, AI becomes a co-creator. At this stage, it can suggest improvements, provide insights, or enrich the content already produced. This is a refinement stage where the AI refines and expands on ideas, improving the overall quality of the project.
I use AI as a tool to speed up my learning, create teaching tools, and communicate as a speaker. — Don Luca
- Finalization: In the final stage, AI can help refine and optimize the work. Whether it is checking for errors, refining the style, or optimizing the final layout, AI acts as an expert assistant to ensure that the final product is as professional and accurate as possible.
For me, it is a great support in translation and in all the activities where I have to take time for the written form (emails, introductions, etc.). It saves me a lot of time. — Corinna
The impact on the everyday life of the project
The introduction of artificial intelligence has significantly changed the workflow, affecting design approaches, execution time, and the use of tools.
- Design approach: AI has made the design process more fluid and iterative, shifting the focus from rigid planning to a dynamic and responsive methodology. Artificial intelligence is not just a support tool, but a true creative partner that suggests new ideas and alternatives in real time, facilitating the exploration of innovative solutions.

- Execution time: The automation introduced by AI has significantly reduced the time required to complete repetitive or complex tasks. Tasks that used to take hours or days can now be completed in minutes, speeding up projects overall and freeing up valuable time to focus on more strategic and creative aspects of the work.
Recently, I have been asking ChatGPT to do a lot of paraphrasing, and it has saved me a lot of time. These are all activities that I am able to do, but by having the machine do them, I can focus on other things. — Don Luca
- Tools: The adoption of AI is leading to a natural evolution of the tools we use every day. AI-based platforms have integrated with traditional software, enabling more connected work and enhancing individual capabilities. AI supports and optimizes different stages of work, from improving writing to optimizing design to processing large amounts of data.
For example, I use many systems in combination: first I write a simple prompt then ask ChatGPT to modify and improve it. — Gabriele
